Our Rooms
Our bedrooms were converted from the main bedrooms and attic bedrooms in the house, which have had various uses over the years. As such they retain the feel of house bedrooms rather than purpose built hotel rooms, and have been decorated with this in mind. Each room has a decorative theme or colour scheme. We do change furnishings and furniture around, and freshen rooms up so please bear this in mind when looking at the pictures below.
All rooms have small flat screen TV with DVD player, WIFI access, FreeView, hairdryers, small ironing board and iron , beverage trays & complimentary toiletries. Rooms to the front of the house enjoy views of the castle, estuary and surrounding countryside. Rooms to the rear have more limited views, but benefit from the sunshine at the back of the house during the day.
Most rooms have additional seating for reading or relaxing and space to work. A range of lighting, cushions and throws or blankets is provided and extra heaters or fans are available on request. All rooms currently have en suite shower rooms which were installed with the aim of maximizing space in the room and are therefore compact rather than spacious.

A spacious room for a couple or business travellers, with a comfortable queen sized divan bed, this room is furnished in rich shades of purple and cream, with a striking feature wallpape. A couple of easy chairs are provided for relaxing. The sash window is enhanced by the original wooden shutters which we had restored, and looks out over our little summer house and garage, and the houses at the back and side. In the distance you can see the tall houses at the top of Cadnant Park and Conwy Mountain.
The Venetian theme comes from the pictures and a range of glass in the cabinet in the room. When the house was built we are informed that Number One was part of a two roomed master bedroom suite which interconnected with what is now Number Five at the front. |
