Castlebank Hotel currently has eight ensuite rooms, and one single room with private bathroom, all set over two floors of the house. On the ground floor there is a guest lounge, licensed bar and dining room.

To the front of the hotel are well stocked terraced gardens and a private car park, for our guests' exclusive use.

Castlebank is owned by Jo & Henrique Fino . It is both a business and our home. We gave up city life to create a relaxing and stress free haven for ourselves and our guests, choosing Conwy because it offers a fascinating mixture of history, culture, town life, beach combing and access to a wide range of activities.

We took over the hotel with our friends Irene and Jose Mendes in 2003. For the next three years both couples worked hard to steadily refurbish and upgrade the house, whilst buiilding up the business. We have many guests who now visit us several times a year and a wide range of visitors from overseas. The hotel has proved a popular venue for groups of couples and family groups due to it's size and the ambience we have created. Since Irene and Jose moved on to pursue other interests we have continued to build up and run the hotel. Our backgrounds combine restaurant, cafe bar and corporate management experience with a genuine interest in meeting and looking after people.

The hotel was featured in a Channel Four Documentary entitled ‘Risking It All’, which followed the two couples as we moved from Manchester and started to get to grips with refurbishing and running a small hotel.The original programme aired in May 2004 with an update shown in October 2005.
